Belly Dancer has proven to be expensive to follow but Paul Cole's colt looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account and is taken to do so at the main expense of the Barry Hills-trained pair Perfect Blend and Silent Spring, with Almost Innocent rated the best of the remainder. The selection has finished in the prize money in each of his last six starts but the daughter of Danehill Dancer has been unfortunate to come up against some useful types in those races and will be unlucky to do so again. Well drawn in stall five and with Kieren Fallon booked for the first time; Belly Dancer looks to be worth another chance. John Gosden's Almost Innocent, a daughter of Danehill, makes plenty of appeal on pedigree but has yet to race and of more interest may be Silent Spring, who only showed a modicum of promise on her Newmarket debut but represents the stable of Barry Hills that does well here and is the preferred choice of Michael Hills over Perfect Blend. The David Nicholls-trained Alexander Capetown showed improved form on her reappearance at Musselburgh and is another to consider along with stablemate Victoria Peek, who has the plum draw in stall one, but Belly Dancer has an obvious chance and gets the vote to gain an overdue success.
