The Nick Littmoden-trained Another Choice is given one more chance to come good now that Kieren Fallon takes over the riding duties. He is selected ahead of Barking Mad, Jack Of Trumps and Queens Rhapsody, who can push their way up the queue behind the selection. Queens Rhapsody is better than his form figures would suggest and has solid each-way claims on the pick of his efforts. He is 5lb lower than he was when finishing a close up ninth in this race last year and should not be underestimated if he is supported in the betting ring. Jack Of Trumps has more good efforts to his name than bad ones and has won four of his last five starts. However, he is 16lb higher in the weights than when his spree started and now needs to post a personal best to figure. Barking Mad won an amateur riders event last time out and arrives in good heart. He is equally effective on turf and should give a good account of himself. A mention also has to be passed on for joint top weight Court Of Appeal, who was not given the best of rides behind Barking Mad but gets on very well with Tom Eaves. He has been given a chance by the assessor and can find a race before too long. Nevertheless, perseverance is the name of the game with an animal like Another Choice, who shaped as if his turn is not too far away at Haydock a fortnight ago. He may well have been coming here on the back of a win had is rider lost his whip at a crucial stage on that occasion. Still Another Chance is obviously thriving on his racing and we are prepared to take the hint from his name today.
