In the finale, Cheshire Prince is nominated ahead of Nota Liberata and Aegis. The selection followed up a very good run when second over course and distance by finishing four lengths behind Nota Liberata when that horse won at Ayr on good to soft. What we feel will help the selection's cause today are the longer trip, the quicker going and a four-pounds weight pull. We shall see. Grand Art came good at Yarmouth last time but had earlier been beaten in handicaps from lower marks than today, and Aegis has yet to prove that he stays this far (his only run at the trip came on soft) but his connections must be fairly confident of him getting it to be trying him at it again, so he could go well. Of the others, Sularno is lightly raced and from a canny yard and Go But Go is hard to assess based on his Hamilton maiden win but, for the selection, we will stcik with Cheshire Prince.
