The draw could be all-important here and from a shortlist of Look Busy, Fol Hollow, Sohraab and GREEN MANALISHI it's the last named who is preferred. Kevin Ryan's charge ran well behind a decent mare when last seen in the UK, with a disappointing run at Dundalk last time best forgiven. He's a three-time Chester winner who appears well-handicapped on both his best form on the turf and recent all-weather efforts, so having landed a good draw in stall four we're hopeful Neil Callan can pop him out and show these the way home. Look Busy is a credit to connections who will be hoping their stable star can end a barren run for the yard. She's won here before, acts with cut and yet has been able to win on genuinely quick ground and doesn't appear harshly handicapped so, as another with a good draw, the mare should go well. Fol Hollow is down to his latest winning mark and can make the running so Dandy Nicholls' charge could run a big race along with Sohraab. The last mentioned won this last year and looks to have been primed for a big run which is entirely likely. Buachaill Dona may lack the raw speed for this from an average draw so of more interest at a price is the grey Masamah who took second last time and has pace. Strike Up The Band has questions to answer despite being a real speedball when on song and in a race where many have chances Green Manalishi gets the vote.
