In an interesting handicap, the vote goes to Windy Prospect, with his main dangers reckoned to be Beaver Patrol and Mostashaar. The Paul Blockley-trained selection has yet to race this year but he finished last season on a high with two successive wins. Given that he had such horses as Gifted Gamble and Profit's Reality behind him on the latter occasion, his mark now seems very fair and, with Kieren Fallon being an eyecatching booking, he looks set to go well from a good draw. Beaver Patrol's form is also solid, as he was second to the subsequent 2,000 Guineas runner-up Rebel Rebel last time up, and he too can go well. Mostashaar created a big impression when winning his maiden at Folkestone last time and he rates as an interesting prospect. Best of the others might prove to be Looks Could Kill, who looks to be on a fair mark but was disappointing at Newmarket four days ago, although connections have elected to run him quickly and in first-time blinkers today. Finally, while Notability is a solid benchmark to the level of the form, Starchy has something to prove following his Newmarket run. In conclusion, then, the vote goes to Windy Prospect.
