Queen In Waiting certainly wasn’t winning out of turn at Newmarket and has the plum draw here. The track will suit her style of running but she’s been raised 8lb, which looks harsh. Orient Class came good in a competitive sprint at Musselburgh last month when Stanghow was fourth but he’s been raised 7lb and will do well to get involved from stall 11. IMPART is 5lb better off with winner Megan Lily than when only fifth here two runs ago. He’s since run very well in a valuable York handicap and is reunited with winning rider Josh Doyle so gets the nod. The drop back to 5f won’t faze Lucky Beggar and he shouldn’t be away with a good draw but course specialist Blithe Spirit remains out of sorts.
