This rates a trappy affair but Abacist is definitely one to keep an eye on if turning up as Ralph Beckett also has his charge entered at Goodwood on Sunday. He came good last time and makes appeal as a potential improver. However, GEORGE THISBY gets the vote on the back of a series of highly creditable recent performances at distances between six and eight furlongs. He's developed into a really consistent and reliable sort at this level and could be good enough to tote topweight to success here. Royal Box will be well suited by trip and ground and certainly deserves a spot on the shortlist after a recent Polytrack success, whilst Katmai River, also a last-time out winner, makes some appeal over his optimum trip.
