In depth

Verdict

A few of these may have seen better days, though 13-year-old DERAWAR did finish second over 3m here on his latest start and Lucy Jones takes off 7lb again today. He gets a nominal vote as the veteran had the disappointing Normally well behind when second over 2m5f at Ffos Las in January. Captain Tidds' only previous victories have come on heavy ground and, though he hasn't shown much lately, he may well be staying on here when others have cried enough and could reward each-way support.
