Gigs Bounty is the confident selection in the opener with Castlemore and Mount Karinga the best of the rest. Gigs Bounty hails from the in-form Mark Pitman yard and was a good winner when beating The Grey Butler at Plumpton earlier in the month. He looked to win with a bit in hand on that day and looks more than capable of following up with conditions to suit here. Castlemore is the main danger and he is a game and consistent sort who is sure to once again run his race. He was a good second behind Afro Man at Kempton but looks the type who may do better when he goes chasing. Mount Karinga is the other to hold a solid chance here. He probably needed the run when a fair fourth behind Wild Oats at Exeter earlier in the month, so should do better here and he looks to have excellent place prospects. There is not a great deal of depth to this race, and our shortlisted trio should all go well, but we are happy to side with Gigs Bounty.
