    Verdict

    Eastern Lady lacks a recent run and Jinkie Pink disappointed when only third over 7f here earlier in the month, though soft ground was a legitimate excuse. Carol has already had seven starts and may find this on the short side nowadays while Wolverhampton second Getna was well beaten on her only previous try on Turf. CHARACTERIZED was no match for the odds-on Shaqaaf at Goodwood but was well clear of fourth Kalani Rose. She does appear to be on an upward curve so Geoffrey Deacon’s filly may be the value today.
