      Verdict

      Whistleupthewind is on the upgrade and can land this uninspiring contest, Maidford and Odessa Star look the best alternatives. James Eustace's filly is still learning her trade but showed much better form when beating Rayanah at Yarmouth recently. There is plenty of potential in this three-year-old and she could very well run up a sequence. Maidford has been in great form this season and landed her second victory at Bath last time out, beating our selection by a neck. She is weighted to confirm that form however we expect Whistupthewind to progress past her. Odessa Star was successful on the all-weather at Wolverhampton before running with credit behind My Lovely Lady at Brighton. A similar effort today should see her involved in the finish. Imperial Luck may do best of the others, but Whistleupthewind may have finally matured into a racehorse and she gets the verdict.
