A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Hawridge King,Smooth Jazz and Transvestite and the narrow nomination is given to Smooth Jazz. The selection is dropping in class here and although disappointing behind Trouble Mountain last time he looks sure to have the race run to suit and looks a value bet in an open affair. Hawridge King rates the main danger as he was behind the selection on his first run of the season is better off at the weights and looks sure to strip fitter here but consistency is not his strong point and for that reason he is opposed. Transvestite disappointed at Chester last ti e and will appreciate this more galloping track so he could go well at a price. Brave Dane has conditions to suit and is another that could go well but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when fifth behind Cormorant Wharf last time and is opposed for that reason. Of the remainder Gallego has been in good form of late and was a fair second behind Great View but this looks more competitive and he may struggle off this higher mark and with this in mind for the winner we return to Smooth Jazz to minimal stakes.
