Verdict

PRINCE ROSSI is fancied to maintain his good run of form with Desert Kiss, The Staffy, Tanforan and Mountain Pass just four potential threats. Prince Rossi had lost his way and had seen his mark drop by around 30lbs but his fortunes have been transformed by the decision to fit him with a visor. He has won three of his four starts since that decision was made and looks a well handicapped horse at present. The Staffy is a potential improver now handicapping and the market is usually a fair guide to runners from this yard whilst Desert Kiss was made favourite for her handicap bow at Yarmouth and may well prove capable of better than she showed that day. Tanforan showed signs of a return to form at Nottingham and could show up well whilst Mountain Pass may appreciate the return to this trip and has won for this jockey. The in-form pair of Full Victory and Forbidden cannot be dismissed out of hand but Prince Rossi is the one that we want to be with.
