The jury is out on Sergeant Troy after another below-par effort when favourite at Nottingham last month. Bold Cross was a fair third at Leicester last time, however, and is back on a winning mark. He should be in the shake-up again along with Kavachi, who often takes on better opposition than this and won at Goodwood around this time last year off a 13lb higher mark. But preference is for POYLE JUDY, who won for the first time over this trip over C&D 13 days ago. Ralph Beckett's filly is lightly raced and only 3lb higher today so there seems no reason why she shouldn't go close again.
