PRIMO DE VIDA is a tentative suggestion to get the better of Our Boy Barrington, Kingsdine and Sir Bruno. The selection has finished runner-up four times in seven starts, all over this trip and on artificial surfaces. Despite those defeats he keeps to a consistent level of form and punters know what they are likely to get from him. Although he failed on one previous try on soft ground, he is given another chance tonight and has stronger claims than many. Our Boy Barrington won a fast ground Nottingham handicap in April and a 2lb drop will be welcome after being thrashed on his last two starts. He is interesting now dropped in trip on this stiff track. Kingsdine was a good ground Salisbury scorer last month and remains on the same mark today as when twice beaten since, although he has been competitive on both occasions and should remain so here. Bryn Palling saddles Sir Bruno, who should get heavily involved from a mark of 70, though we will side with Primo De Vida.
