In depth

Verdict

Syncopated Rhythm is sure to be popular with punters here but we will side with Southerndown to get the better of Up The Pub and Levallois. The selection finished behind Syncopated Rhythm last time out but the winner had the race run to suit that day and his overall profile suggests that he could be one to take on if he is too short in the market. Our selection is game and consistent and he may be capable of reversing the placings. Up The Pub has been disappointing of late but he is a thorough stayer and the return to this trip should see him in a better light. Levallois ran well last time but his last success came in France five years ago so he can't be backed with any confidence and we will stick with Southerndown to lead them home.
