Verdict
Oxwich Bay won at Sedgefield a year ago off a 4lb higher mark but Adam Wedge is on board stable companion THE BOAT. The six-year-old won at Market Rasen in December and bounced back to form when third to Joly Maker at Hereford after a poor run at Taunton. The latter’s trainer saddles Hang Tough, who is starting to look very well treated but has been out of sorts. Celma Des Bois was pulled up here after winning at Leicester on his reappearance but was placed at the track last season. The locally-trained Judex Lefou has the stronger recent form, however, and looks a threat to all.
