Verdict

MARIE CUDDY hasn't been seen since making a debut against Jacqueline Quest (disqualified first past the post in the 1,000 Guineas). Two of the seven runners who finished behind her have gone on to win, including four time winner Sparkling Smile. Considering that form line we side with Karen George's option here ahead of African Wave who also returns after a break. John Gosden's half-brother to six winners hasn't been seen since debut either and is worth consideration after showing promise on his only run so far. Tariq Too has been getting closer but in relatively weaker maidens whilst Fetching has disappointed for connections so far. We take a chance that Marie Cuddy can return with a bang.
