In depth

Verdict

Rated 91, a chance is taken ROCKIN ROY stays the extra furlong. He won over the minimum trip at Beverley on his debut and wasn’t disgraced in the Windsor Castle at Ascot last time. He’s weighted to get the better of maiden winner Critical Data, well beaten over 7f last time, but Headland could go well with normal progress after a modest debut at Bath. The remainder have even more to find on what little they have shown so far.
