Verdict

OMAN rated in the 90’s on the Flat for Ralph Beckett so new trainer Alan King will be hoping he can be capable of lifting this prize before stepping up in grade. Picks Lad won a bumper at big odds for Micky Hammond and makes a first start for Kim Bailey this afternoon. Doyen Star obliged in a hot looking maiden between the flags at Rathcannnon and the market is monitored on a first appearance under Rules. Whenthepennydrops has been ignored on previous racecourse visits though it may be significant that Dan Skelton has backed off her for almost a whole year while Mountain Leopard returns after 666 days away and had previously exhibited promise on a softer surface.
