Verdict

Only beaten half-a-length at Uttoxeter last month, Awaythelad has an experience advantage over most of his rivals in this. Crambo was 2-2 in bumpers at Huntingdon last season and could be anything but there are also possibilities about FILANDERER. Despite running green, the latter won a bumper on debut at Warwick at the end of last year and was far too keen later in a Listed race at Newbury. By a leading NH sire, he is a half-brother to the stable’s winning hurdler Canoodle. Boom Boom placed twice behind a recent hurdles winner in bumpers last season while Broughshane and Jet Smart have both shown ability between the flags.
