In depth

Verdict

Ian Williams had a welcome winner at Hamilton last week and Abel Tasman has claims in this even though his victory at Lingfield in March came in a lesser grade. Rotherwick continues to frustrate but Songkran is on a roll, though has no form on ground with some give. Water's Edge was only beaten a neck at Bath and is just a pound higher while Stormingin made a satisfactory reappearance at Newbury. SCOFFLAW has become a little quirky but has his conditions on his first start on Turf since October. He won off higher marks last year so a big run is anticipated.
