      Verdict

The return to today’s trip in a handicap at Yarmouth brought a better effort from BOBBY ON THE BEAT. Beaten only a length on that occasion, the winner has gone in again since and Michael Bell’s colt is taken to improve past Nastase. The latter drops down in distance having placed in both starts over 7f so far without troubling the winner while Batindi is looking to put a poor effort at Beverley behind her having run much better at Newbury earlier. Express Power is related to a winning sprinter and there’s plenty of speed in Imperium Blue’s pedigree.
