Not much to enthuse over in this maiden handicap but something has to win and it may as well be TRILLIAN ASTRA. Clive Cox' filly showed nothing in her first campaign but has given plenty of signs in her two runs on Polytrack this season that a first success is imminent and this could be her day. Celestial Ray was having his first start on Turf after seven Polytrack efforts when not beaten far at Brighton though the ground was fast and tonight's surface will be very different. Trigger Park did a bit better on soft going here last month and won't need much more to get into the frame while Logans Lad has shown a glimmer of ability which is why he's carrying top weight.
