Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has won this for the past two years and SEA THE BLOOM can complete the treble. The daughter of Sea The Stars out of a Fillies' Mile winner, she couldn't cope with Arod over 1m2f at Windsor but the latter's subsequent efforts in the Dante and Derby point to it being a very useful performance. She's given the vote over Swan Lakes, who couldn't quite cope with Seagull over this trip at Newmarket where the very fast ground may not have played to her strengths. Fiery Sunset and Grace And Favour will need to improve so a bigger threat may appear in the shape of Curved, a daughter of Oasis Dream out of a Group 1 winner.
