This looks a competitive handicap to unravel but we will give the tentative vote to THE GOSSMOOR YANK with both Galaxy Rock and Mister Benedictine worth noting in the betting market. The selection comes from the Paul Nicholls yard who normally get going around this time of the year. He does have the burden of top weight to carry but he does have the best form on offer. He has won two from four races and was not discredited off a one pound higher mark at Cheltenham when last seen out in April. He is sure to be fit for his seasonal reappearance and another bold bid can be expected. Galaxy Rock rattled in a hat-trick of wins last spring winning at Market Rasen, Southwell and Newton Abbot. He has risen 23 pounds in the ratings as a consequence so a personal best will be required. Mister Benedictine doesn't know how to run a bad race and ran another fine race in defeat at Market Rasen last time out. He does seem to find one too good on the day but he is sure to give his supporters another good run for their money. The Gossmore Yank is still relatively unexposed and there should be more to come.
