Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Molem, Johannian and Tiber Tiger are the three to look at here and Molem is the selection. A Lingfield winner in April, Molem has run well in defeat since, twice finishing runner up and running respectably at Newmarket last time, being run out of it in the closing stages. Tiber Tiger has ability but is something of an enigma, having thrown away a golden opportunity at newmarket in June, pulling himself up when having the race at his mercy. Two subsequent visits to headquarters have been fruitless, and he can be opposed. Johannian was having his first run since 2004 when finishing fifth at Salisbury, a respectable effort after his lay off. That was less than two weeks ago and provided the bounce factor doesn't kick in, this talented individual can go well. Molem looks the safer proposition though and gets the vote.
