Mambonow, Mashaair and Nightstrike are the principals here and Mashaair is given another chance here. Mambonow has been keeping good company at York and Newmarket but has looked a little one paced. He has some ability but is yet to prove hinself. After fine runs at Leicester and Newbury, Mashaair was made a long odds on favourite at Thirsk last time but could finish only third. That was hugely disappointing and the beautifully bred Mashaair is another with a question mark against him. Best of the rest is Nightstrike, who ran with credit twice on all weather surfaces before being well beaten on turf at Salisbury last time. Third may be the best she can hope for. This is a tricky contest with Mashaair taken to come out on top.
