Jumeirah Scarer, Best Before and Strider look to be the leading lights in this handicap and the vote is given to Jumeirah Scarer. The selection has been slightly disappointing of late but he make his handicap debut on an attractive mark and in the hope that the step-up in trip brings about some improvement we will put him forward as a tentative choice. Best Before finished well down the field in a more competitive handicap than this last time. He had previously run in the Spring Mile at Doncaster and in this weak affair he has to be of interest even though he is not in the best of form at present. Strider does not win very often but he was a fair third behind Polish Spirit over this course and distance last time and he looks to have decent place prospects once again here. Cirrious won well last time and is worth noting in the market but she is far from consistent and for the winner we return to Jumeirah Scarer.
