          Verdict

          Yorkies Boy, Pepper Road and Bint Royal are three against the field in another tough race to call and the tentative vote goes to Yorkies Boy. The selection has won his last two races in good style and although he is rising in the weights he remains on a fair mark and with conditions in his favour and from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Pepper Road rates the main danger he was a good second behind Gifted Flame off this mark last time and need only reproduce that effort to have definite place claims.Bint Royal won well last time out when defeating Cut Ridge and although he has a penalty for that win this is his time of year and he will not be far away. Extemporise was a fair fifth behind Tancred Miss last time and has place claims but gave the impression he would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and he looks opposable on that basis. Of the remainder Iced Diamond was a fair second behind Mon Secret last time but this drying ground is not in his favour and he is passed over on n this occasion and in a race that throws up more questions than answers and where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Yorkies Boy.
