Verdict

Plucky is given the nod over Own Boss, with Winning Show, Timber Treasure and Touch Of Style chasing that pair home. This does indeed look a two-horse race on paper, with Plucky just shading it for us. John Gosden's filly had Own Boss two-lengths behind when they met at Newmarket 17-days ago in the race won by Medicea Sidera, and on exactly the same terms there is no reason why she should not uphold the form. Timber Treasure was behind both of them at headquarters, and again looks held, especially as Winning Show even finished a place ahead of the Cecil colt. Touch Of Style will benefit from the run, and the rest make little or no appeal, so in what is a virtual match, the progressive Plucky can give in-form Ryan Moore another winner.
