HOBSON is given the nod to land this handicap at the expense of Croeso Cusan and Prince Rossi. The selection has numerous entries in the calendar as connections are keen to get another run into him before the handicapper gets a chance to reassess his rating. He was in winning action at Yarmouth on his seasonal reappearance is able to run off the same mark and for that reason he is difficult to oppose. Croeso Cusan broke his maiden tag at Brighton last September and followed up with a game run when finishing second to Kannon at the same venue off a twelve pound higher mark. The handicapper has decided to raise him a further five pound in the ratings which does seem a little unfair therefore he will have to show further improvement to land himself in the winners enclosure. Prince Rossi landed back to back races at Kempton in the winter and ran well enough on his seasonal reappearance at Folkestone last time out. He still looks well enough treated so any market moves should be noted.
