In depth

Verdict

Punchestown winner LAST QUARTER is one of only two with racecourse experience. A claimer negates his penalty and he can make a winning start for new connections. Of the newcomers, Guerlain De Vaux is a half-brother to a stayer while Hullnback is a half-brother to useful hurdler Kingscourt Native and from a yard that has an excellent strike-rate in bumpers. However, Riskintheground, who cost €48,000 and is a full brother to a winning hurdler, might be a bigger danger.
