In depth

Verdict

Fly Number One won a Sandown bumper two years ago but hasn’t been seen since and Risk D'argent proved ultimately disappointing in that sphere last season. Though switched to Paul Nicholls, Gavin Sheehan keeps the ride on BRAVE KINGDOM who beat two subsequent winners in a decent time in a Fontwell bumper in February so the five-year-old gets the nod. His new stablemate Don Alvaro ran poorly at Stratford but Fitz In could go well having a first start under Rules and Mumbo Jumbo showed promise at Newbury at the start of the year. Newcomer Camdonian is another to consider.
