This has the makings of an informative novices’ handicap. Powerstown Park rattled up a hat-trick over hurdles last season but was only fourth on his chasing bow at Huntingdon in April. Witness Protection has had a couple of runs over fences and was second at Newton Abbot last month but a switch to the larger obstacles will suit BREWERS PROJECT as he has already won between the flags and showed a liking for this galloping track over hurdles. The returning Tokay Dokey is worth a market check and Song Of The Hunter is also interesting having a first run for Tim Vaughan. Amarillo Sky may be the pick of the remainder ahead of the lightly-raced Brave Seasca as Shantou Express weakened quickly at Uttoxeter and Red Rookie needs bottomless ground to show his best.
