This is a tricky handicap for punters to call and the leading lights look to be Madiba, High Point and Moonshine Beach with the vote is given to Madiba. The selection scored in impressive fashion at Newcastle last time when beating Dhehdaah. He does not win very often but now that he has hit a bit of form it could pay to stick with him. High Point rates the main danger as this is significantly easier than his last race when he was well beaten in the Chester Cup. However, he has never won over this trip and for that reason he is passed over. Moonshine Beach has been a little disappointing of late but he will be suited by the step-up in trip today and that could see him run in a better light. Our Monogram is a course and distance winner and is another to consider, but for the winner we will return to Madiba.
