DIMAIRE is given the vote to land this handicap at the expense of First Term and Thaliwarru. The selection is still a maiden after ten starts but has been performing well in defeat. She caught the eye after finishing second of thirteen at Wolverhampton last time out and after a number of close calls recently she deserves to get his head in front. First Term comes from the powerful Richard Hannon stable and runs in her first handicap. Her most recent effort was only moderate but with a mark of just 63 she warrants plenty of respect on her handicap debut. Thaliwaau only won a seller while breaking his maiden tag at Leicester last time out. He is now three pounds higher in the weights as a result but more will be required this time around. Dimaire has more ticks in her boxes compared to the majority of her rivals and looks the percentage call.
