CAR HALL has shown enough in recent weeks to suggest he is good enough to land the odds again at the expense of Mae Cigan and Cote d'Argent. The selection got his head in front at Kempton in March and although he was disappointing thereafter he bounced back to form after finishing third at Leicester last time out. If he can recapture his latest form he will not be far away come the business end of the race. Mae Cigan returned from a winters break over hurdles at Ffos Las in March. He finished an eye catching second behind Blazing Buck that day and it ought to put him spot on for a decent performance on the level so any market moves should be noted. Cote d'Argent has been a little disappointing since joining the Chris Down stable and has yet to show his true colours over hurdles this spring. That said his flat form was decent at one point as he was able to win off a mark of 86 for Len Lungo last season so he could be well handicapped running off a fifteen pound lower mark. Carr Hall is however the form horse in the race and looks the percentage call.
