In depth

Verdict

Al Alba won well last time and is taken to get her head in front again today at the main expense of Overtop Way and Intended. The selection is a likeable filly who won well in France last time and she sets the standard here on her French form. She looks progressive and is taken to score. Overtop Way was a fair second at Brighton last time after running well in her previous outing at Epsom. She will probably have a small race in her but this may be a little too competitive. Intended is eased in grade but it remains to be seen whether this drop in trip will play to her strengths as she has been running well over further than this. Stamford Blue would have claims on the pick of his form and although he has won over 1m, he is probably better over a slightly shorter trip. This is an interesting race which should go the way of Al Alba.
