Verdict

Best Before, Arabian Moon and Prairie Law are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Best Before. The selection raced a little too keenly when beaten at Nottingham last time and he gave the impression that day that a step-up in trip would suit. He gets that today and with conditions to suit he looks to have a leading chance. Arabian Moon rates the main danger as he is another that will be suited by the step-up in trip and he has been in good form recently. However he just gave the impression last time that he might benefit from a break and for that reason he is passed over. Prairie Law would have claims on the pick of his form but he was very disappointing at Brighton last time when well-beaten and that run will have to forgiven if he is to be supported this afternoon. Dara Mac is a consistent sort and is another with place prospects but for the winner we will stick with Best Before.
