        Verdict

        Akavit has been running poorly on Turf but won three times last year off higher marks, including one over track and trip, and Jane Elliott takes off 3lb. Moon of Baroda would have a chance on his best form and So Near So Farhh would have a chance on her best form, despite being a beaten favourite at Lingfield three weeks ago. The lightly-raced EARLY SUMMER (NAP) almost certainly needed last month’s run at Goodwood. Hughie Morrison has no qualms keeping him over 2m and he would have an excellent chance on last year’s form in maidens.
