Verdict

Berkshire Sundance is a half-brother to five winners and an interesting newcomer for the Balding yard. After a second at Newbury, Escarpment started favourite for a handicap at Doncaster last month but was beaten more than 13 lengths but Vaguely Royal has to go on the shortlist as she found only one too good upped to this trip at Newmarket. Clan Chieftain is a full brother to the smart Highland Chieftain and likely to do better in his second season while the Godolphin four-year-old Wild Hurricane has placed in both starts to date. A full brother to two winners including the smart Nezwaah, SEENDID was keeping on under hands and heels on his Newbury debut and will know more today. St Just In Time ran green when second at Windsor and is another likely improver.
