Verdict

Neil Mulholland runs three in this. Jamie Codd has come over to ride The Wicket Chicken but the mare has some improving to do if she’s to win in this grade. Fingerontheswitch has Millie Wonnacott’s claim in his favour but prefers quicker ground, as does Doing Fine. The latter takes an age to build up a head of steam but did beat PLANTAGENET eight lengths at Fontwell. However, the latter is now 8lb better off and today’s easier surface will suit Seamus Mullins’ charge so he can reverse the form. Cobolobo could figure if fully wound-up but Clondaw Rigger has an even longer absence to overcome and Mr Mafia faces a huge task off his new mark.
