In depth

Verdict

The Big Galloper was all out to win a Roscommon maiden last month and may struggle to follow up in the first handicap of the new season on this exacting course. Liosduin Bhearna, Breaking Waves and SMARTY WILD were all making giant strides in the spring and the latter should relish a further step up in trip this season. The champion jockey takes over the reins and Philip Hobbs’ five-year-old can extend his winning run. Boreham Bill made a winning return to action at Stratford but jockey Adam Wedge has been retained to ride bottom weight Treasure Dillon, who also has a squeak. Printing Dollars probably needs further and Duke Street is still climbing the weights while this may be too competitive for Trans Express but Rapper and Tedham are likely to be winning again soon.
