Verdict
French imports Fred and Cap Du Mathan both go on the shortlist in this having transferred to top NH yards. The former is just preferred but the pair may be more effective when the mud is flying. Ship Of The Fen is a useful stayer on the Flat and it would be no surprise to see him in the firing-line. Master Debonair won a Listed bumper here just under a year ago and was highly tried after. He is an exciting recruit to hurdling and will know his job but we’ll stick with the mare GETARIVER, unbeaten and impressive in two bumpers last season having already won between the flags. She has a hood added to the tongue-tie to help her settle but clearly has an engine.
