Five of the last six winners have carried 11st or more to victory so we'll reluctantly put a line through the four at the foot of the weights, even though Conas Taoi arrives on a hat-trick. Neil Mulholland and Nigel Twiston-Davies have won the last four renewals between them so Perfect Timing and Five Star Wilsham go on the short-list. The former may be better over shorter trips but the latter is looking well treated being only 2lb higher than when scoring at Wincanton in January. BROUGHTONS BANDIT is unexposed over fences and first-time blinkers could bring about some improvement so he gets the nod with stablemate Definite Ruby remaining out of sorts. Katie Do had racked up a treble before being brought down at the first at Sligo but this is a step up in class. Top Cat Henry has his stamina to prove while Houston Dynimo jumped poorly at Wincanton last week and is unlikely to get away with that here.
