Verdict

Anteros won bumpers at Chepstow and Plumpton last winter but this is a tough introduction to hurdling. Be Bop Boru and Hawaii Five Nil are other bumper winners making their debut over obstacles while Germany Calling will have learned plenty form his third at Worcester and his yard is in cracking form. LAC FONTANA didn't manage a win in three runs over hurdles last season but was third in a Grade 2 at Kempton in February before trying his luck in the Triumph Hurdle. His experience could be the deciding factor in this. Apollo Eleven was third at Bangor last month but beaten more than 20 lengths and will need more here.
