    Verdict

A tricky finale to close the Open meeting and plenty of these arrive in winning form. Waterlord never made it onto the Flat though he's made up for lost time with three victories in bumpers and he conceded a double penalty to his rivals at Uttoxeter in convincing fashion. Coole Charmer is one to bear in mind for the future so we'll watch him today and side with CHAP. Dan Skelton's five year old showed enough speed to win round the tight turns at Aintree but there's plenty of evidence in his pedigree to suggest that he'll be even more effective at this more conventional track. Aurillac kept on stoically to take a bumper at the Showcase meeting and he shouldn't be too far away. Be Daring could easily improve upon his debut while Lisheen Prince makes his debut for Philip Hobbs having caught the eye of many observers in an Irish point to point.
