Dark Lover wasn't beaten far in a Grade 3 handicap over C&D last month. A winner here on his reappearance, Paul Nicholls' seven-year-old may still be on a decent mark and should be thereabouts again. Tim Vaughan runs three with a 10lb claimer Jason Kiely on board the tough Hawkhill, though the top weight has already had a busy campaign. Sandown second Gallox Bridge may be more of a danger today. Turn Over Sivola makes his handicap debut having easily landed the odds at Plumpton last month while Open Day comes here off the back of a win at Leicester, though is 7lb higher now. Nicky Henderson runs Top Of The Range and the four-year-old TOM DU LYS and with Barry Geraghty taking the ride on the latter it's safe to assume he's the stable's first choice. A winner twice in his native France last year, he was well beaten on his UK debut in the spring but was probably still acclimatising and should be a different proposition now. He gets the nod though Nampour is well treated if getting back to anywhere near his best.
