Verdict
Wild Bill has been a beaten favourite twice since scoring at Doncaster in November but Newbury fourth Benenden could figure if the rains stay away. Lovely Job has been getting closer and Themanfrom Minella and Mezendore arrive off the back of respective recent victories at Exeter and Bangor, though have more on their plate here. SOLSTICE SON had a good strike rate over hurdles and got off the mark over fences at the fourth time of asking at Fontwell, where he made all and never looked like being caught. He was put up 9lb for that but Harry Cobden will again take off 5lb and Anthony Honeyball's lightly-raced seven-year-old may be value for a second chasing success. Deadly Sting will have needed last month's run at Haydock and looks the pick of the remainder.
